The Hasselblad H6D-100c is the flagship medium format camera from Hasselblad. Hasselblad loaned me one to photograph the London New Year’s fireworks, and while I had it, I put it to use.

I first saw this view over 3 years ago when I was looking for locations to shoot the New Year’s fireworks display from. When I saw this vista I could visualise in my mind’s eye the image I wanted to make.

The Hasselblad X1D 50c caused a lot of excitement as the world’s first mirrorless medium format camera. Hasselblad loaned me the system with a couple of lenses to try out in London and ringside at York Hall.
