London Street Photography

I discovered street photography at college. The library had several books on it, and three photographers became my favourites: Garry Winogrand, Henri Cartier-Bresson and Lee Friedlander. That’s what got me started.

A human moment makes me stop and take a picture. So does something abstract, or a good reflection in a window. If something catches my eye, I ask myself why. Then I try to capture it as best I can.

I took these all over London, mostly on a Pentax K-5 or K-3. Both are weather sealed, so I don’t have to worry when it rains. In London, that matters. Pentax gave me the K-3 while I was one of their ambassadors.
